UW HOSPITAL & CLINICS Procedure/Surgical Services Supervisor in MADISON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Procedure/Surgical Services Supervisor - 30820 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: 100% FTE, day/evening hours between 6:30am - 6:30pm. No weekends or holidays. You will be working at Eastpark Medical Center, our new state-of-the-art facility on the east side of Madison, once it opens in fall 2024. We are seeking a Procedure/Surgical Services Supervisor to: * Help lead the day-to-day operations and coordination of patient care services for the diagnostic imaging team. * Promote staff continuing education and evidence-based practice. * Facilitate communication, coordination and collaboration among disciplines regarding identification, planning and provision of high quality, cost-effective care. * Utilize your strong professional communication and collaboration skills to provide constructive feedback and resolve conflicts, train/mentor staff, and resolve patient concerns. * Be able to perform procedures, moderate sedation, critical thinking and overall flow for the new Eastpark Medical Center radiology procedures. * Be an effective member of the Radiology/Medical Imaging management team, fostering a customer/patient focused perspective and ensuring a strong commitment to organizational service standards. Preferred - Master of Science in Nursing or relevant field. Work Experience : Minimum - Two (2) years relevant nursing experience and evidence of leadership experience. Preferred - Five (5) or more years of relevant experience in clinical practice and leadership r supervisory experience with demonstrated success. Certifications : Minimum - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact. Current CPR/BLS Certification and current ACLS Certification.
