About the Role: As a Data Entry Clerk at MBCC, you\'ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data management systems. You\'ll have the opportunity to work closely with the Director of Operations on a daily basis, providing essential support and maintaining open lines of communication. Additionally, you\'ll collaborate with our accounting team or accountant in occasional meetings, contributing your expertise to the financial aspects of our operations. Your primary responsibility will be to keep records up to date and readily available to all staff upon request, ensuring efficiency and accessibility across the organization. Accurately input and maintain data in databases and spreadsheets. 2. Verify data integrity and address any discrepancies or errors. 3. Assist in generating reports and presentations based on entered data. 4. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and accuracy across platforms. 5. Maintain confidentiality and security of all entered data. 6. Provide support in training new staff or volunteers on data entry procedures. 7. Respond to data inquiries from staff, volunteers, or external partners. 8. Organize records, purge duplicate records, and lead in creation of a document tracking system for audit purposes. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: \$18.00 - \$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 40 per week Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors. Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered. Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors. Store completed documents in appropriate locations. Select materials needed to complete work assignments. Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners.
