PERMABILT INDUSTRIES Construction Manager in LYNNWOOD, Washington

Responsibilities: As Construction Manager you will be working closely with other department managers. Some of the responsibilities include, develop and maintaining production schedules, negotiating subcontractor agreements and supplier contracts, insuring production is cost effective, within budget, and performance measures, planned efficiencies, and LEAN initiatives are met or exceeded through change management processes and best practices. The responsibilities will be performed by overseeing subcontractor and vendor quality performance, reviewing building packets for accuracy and make corrections as needed to avoid unnecessary delays and/or mistakes, conducting take-offs/material lists, and coordinating warranty repairs and vendor service issues to insure timely completion. Other responsibilities include : Insure all company policies and procedures are understood and followed by your staff. Coordinate safety inspections of all crews and subcontractors to insure a safe working environment to eliminate/minimize job site injuries. Handle customer complaints and inquiries Other duties as assigned The Requirements Extensive knowledge and experience in manufacturing or construction related logistics and production processes. Demonstrated leadership skills Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations Experience in planning and implementation Excellent customer relation skills, to include internal and external customers via in-person, phone, or electronic correspondence. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects Experience hiring and managing multiple construction crews. Experience hiring and managing subcontractors Excellent communication skills Hands on experience reading blueprints and conducting take-offs and/or material lists Ability to negotiate and manage supplier contracts Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
