Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Conduct a first review of all quarterly Lloyds reporting, including Solvency II reporting, and syndicate report and accounts
Review and approve more complex financial activities for various lines of business including journal entries and account reconciliations. Write commentary on monthly results to share with Enterprise finance and local Business Unit heads
Develop, perform and certify financial controls in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Review more complex documentation to support Internal and External Audits. Interact with internal and external auditors
Monitor and maintain compliance with various financial external regulatory requirements and internal accounting policies
Assisting in the preparation of Lloyd’s tax reporting requirements
Apply complex accounting and financial concepts and controls to support the development, implementation or enhancement of financial systems and processes
Support Senior Finance Manager in financial reporting projects as they arise

We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Finance team in London to take responsibility for our monthly parent company reporting, Lloyd's quarterly QMA and Solvency II reporting and Syndicate statutory accounts.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge:
You will need to be a qualified accountant with a background in insurance accounting and previous Lloyd's experience is essential for this role.
You will have a thorough knowledge of Insurance accounting including Lloyd's and Solvency II reporting requirements and be comfortable working with mainstream finance systems including General Ledger and data warehouse. Preferably, you will have a master knowledge of Excel and an understanding of the importance of financial controls.

You will need to be a qualified accountant and have a strong insurance accounting background. Previous Lloyd's experience is essential for this role.

Licensing or Certificates:
