Palo Alto Networks seeks a Content and Communications Manager to cover Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This key position on our global communications team reports to the U.S. based-director of social media and influencer strategy, with a strong dotted line to EMEA’s director of corporate communications. The job will be based in Amsterdam or London.

We seek a skilled communicator/storyteller to help us identify the right audiences, channels and messaging to promote the company and its products. The content and communications manager will be responsible for creating, curating, optimizing content for EMEA marketing initiatives, working alongside colleagues around the world to support the global communications program. This role requires deep knowledge of the EMEA media landscape: owned, earned, paid and social.
Lead EMEA-specific social media programs, working with content creators, tracking and reporting metrics and developing a regional strategy in line with global priorities
Create a regular, timely flow of content for the UK, continental Europe, the Middle East, and Africa
Develop content supporting EMEA communications goals. Support planning and alignment between corporate communications, marketing, and user community teams
Support demand generation marketing team to ensure EMEA-specific campaigns are social-ready and have actionable/shareable social elements
Help support key EMEA events
5 or more years’ experience in content communications/marketing/journalism
Ability to develop and curate written and multimedia content for social channels
Strong grasp of EMEA social media, regional social channels
Strong communicator with excellent writing, editing skills, and presentation skills. Able to translate tech speak for a general audience
Highly motivated self-starter able to work remotely on a global team, managing complex projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to manage communications and enforce deadlines across complex stakeholder groups based around the world
English required. Dutch, French, German and other languages a plus
Willing to do some travel within EMEA, less frequent trips to the U.S
