Job Summary The Learning and Development (L&D) Specialist (Level I) is instrumental in the logistical and operational support of our company's training and development initiatives. This role involves a broad range of duties to ensure the smooth delivery of training programs. The L&D Specialist schedules training events, liaises with instructors, and maintains clear communication with participants regarding schedules and details. Additionally, the L&D Specialist is responsible for processing LMS enrollments, answering inquiries about courses, and generating LMS reports on training statistics and program evaluations. This position requires a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role is located in Livonia, MI. It will start as 100% onsite and graduate to hybrid status.

As the L&D Specialist, you will:Schedule and organize training sessions, workshops, and seminars, ensuring efficient use of resources and facilitiesCommunicate with trainers and instructors to coordinate schedules, materials, and logistics for each training eventCreate and distribute Talent Management related communications, class fliers, newsletters, and other internal L&D marketing materials as needed throughout the organizationProvide clear and timely communication to participants regarding training schedules, details, and any changes or updatesHandle the LMS enrollment process for training participants, including registration, tracking attendance, and maintaining recordsUse the LMS to input data, track training statistics, and produce reports assessing the effectiveness of programs and instructorsDevelop and implement strategies to optimize utilization of training processes, tools, and the LMSCollect and analyze feedback from training participants to identify areas for improvement in future sessionsAssist L+D team with creation and delivery of training coursesTo be considered an L&D Specialist, you will need:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, L&D or related fieldMinimum (6) months of experience supporting multiple team members or departmentsAbility to multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple projects while ensuring attention to detail and providing follow-upStrong computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office productsIntermediate level of Microsoft Excel proficiencyStrong organizational, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to work under pressure, handling a wide variety of activities and confidential mattersStrong attention to detailWilling and able to take on additional duties as assignedA successful candidate may also have:Experience in an education, corporate training, or Human Resources environmentKnowledge of electronic document creationAdobe Acrobat, Illustrator, or PhotoshopCanvaKnowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS)Knowledge of SAP e
