Directs and coordinates high level financial analysis regarding the operations of Local RHM on a variety of strategic initiatives. Provides leadership and support to drive increased financial stewardship. Reviews Local RHM budgets, financial plans and capital requests and supports improvement to ensure strong financial stewardship.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSURE:
Must have a thorough understanding of financial management as normally acquired through completion of a Masters degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
A minimum of eight (8) years of progressively more responsible experience in public accounting and the health care industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA certification is preferred.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Strong knowledge of accounting theory. Familiarity with healthcare finance terminology and concepts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to develop appropriate methodologies for collecting, analyzing, and evaluating data. Strong personal computer skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision of daily tasks.
Ability to provide supervision and mentoring to department managers and analysts.
Must be comfortable in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
Must demonstrate the ability to provide leadership and to motivate and influence others to achieve results with and without direct line accountability.
Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals and values of CHE Trinity Health.
