This Position is for a College Direct Placement (CDP) Systems Administrator for 2019. You will be working with a data center team that is responsible for highly reliability environments. The team has a wide range of skills, and shares a committed focus to solving problems. We require our teammates to share our customer service focus, strong dedication to process, and willingness to do what it takes to make our company successful.
If you have initiative, troubleshooting skills, and love to learn, you will develop skills in a wide variety of platforms and operating systems, including some of the below:
• Data Virtualization
• SAN / NAS technologies
• Cloud Migration
Typical duties include:
• Analyze system logs and identify potential issues with computer systems
• Introduce and integrate new technologies into existing environments
• Perform routine audits of systems and software
• Perform backups and backup maintenance checking
• Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes
• Install and configure new hardware and software
• Document and maintain documents on the configuration of the system
• Troubleshoot reported problems
• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or computer science field.

Understanding of Cloud infrastructure, software / hardware infrastructure, middleware, and SOA.
Strong problem solving skills.
Good communication skills.
Consummate team player.
Candidate will work in a team environment utilizing Agile methodologies (KANBAN) and processes.
A results oriented team player, creative thinker and problem-solver; and able to follow all ethical standards of the Lockheed Martin Corporation.
