SLS Las Vegas Search Engine Marketing Manager in Las Vegas, Nevada

Ready to make a difference? SLS Las Vegas is looking for a seasoned, results-oriented Search Engine Marketing Manager to join our high-performing digital marketing team. This position will be responsible for building and managing all paid search and pay-per-click campaigns on Google, Bing, and other search or display marketing engines to drive qualified traffic, generate conversions, and maximize ROI. Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, the Search Engine Marketing Manager will work closely with various departments and other marketing team members to define, develop, and optimize search/display strategies in the Las Vegas and Reno destination markets for audiences interested in lodging, gaming, entertainment, culinary, meeting and conference spaces, plus other resort amenities.

  • Daily management of all paid search and pay-per-click marketing activities

  • Develop, test, optimize and expand on paid keywords

  • On-going management of negative keywords

  • Manage search/display campaign expenses and stay on budget

  • Estimate monthly costs, provide pacing data, and reconcile discrepancies

  • Perform competitive analysis

  • Oversee vendor relationships related to search and display

  • Continuous optimization of ad copies and destination landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns

  • Extensive tracking, reporting, and analysis of website data, PPC/display initiatives and campaigns

  • Stay up-to-date in evolving algorithms, best practices, and identify industry trends

  • Research and recommend bid management tools as needed

  • Provide strategic insights on all managed campaigns

  • Create and improve internal processes and structure

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or three to five years of relevant experience

  • Minimum three years of proven SEM experience and success managing PPC campaigns across Google and Bing; search certifications a plus

  • Minimum two years’ experience with display/GDN and remarketing

  • Strong analytical skills and experience generating reports and dashboards

  • Familiarity with website analytics tools

  • Can tell stories with data and make them actionable

  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments

  • Expert-level use of Excel and working understanding of HTML

  • Passionate about their role
