Job Description

ELECTRONICS TECHNICIANS

Santa Rosa optical thin films manufacturer, is seeking Electrical/Mechanical Technicians to join our Maintenance Team. In this position, you will create, maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical assemblies for use in coating machines and support equipment, and assist in the build-up of new equipment. You will also provide support for manufacturing and process engineering; assemble, adjust, repair and dismantle electrical and mechanical equipment according to layout plans and manuals, and use test and diagnostic equipment to check performance.

Experience with vacuum systems, high voltage power supplies, microwave systems, vacuum pumps and gauging preferred. An Associate’s Degree in electronics or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is preferred. A minimum of five (5) years related experience. Must have a high degree of independent judgment regarding troubleshooting and fabrication work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

Position could be on a day, swing or mid-shift, on either 4x10 or 3x12 hour shifts, therefore all applicants must be shift flexible and willing to work day shift or off shift, including some weekend work.
