This position will be responsible for acting as a liaison between Practices and their employees and our Operations Team. They will also communicate and support the efforts of Covance programs through intense communication efforts. Finally, this individual will proactively reach out to and help manage practice accounts being serviced by Covance specialty pharmacy activities.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Communicate frequently and eloquently with Practice employees on a regular basis

  • Act as the liaison between the Practices and the Operations Team Covance Specialty Pharmacy

  • Act as the liaison between the Programs and the Operations Team Covance Specialty Pharmacy

  • Support the efforts of the Program Manager(s), PIC and Directors

  • Thoroughly understand and explain specific Covance program business rules

  • Support staff working on Covance programs to meet program requirements

  • Provide reporting and analysis of Covance programs as needed

  • Professionally represent Covance Specialty Pharmacy when communicating with customers on phone or in person

  • Ability to manage time when covering a large geographical database of customers

  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Team in the Covance Specialty Pharmacy

RequiredQualifications :

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)

  • 2+years of experience in a customer service related field

  • Abilityto travel up to 10%

  • Understandingof healthcare regulations

  • Experiencewith pharmacy

  • Microsoft Excel experience (create and data entry for basicspreadsheets)

PreferredQualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) or High School Diploma/ GED (or higher) with 1+ years experience as an Account Manager

  • Experienceas Pharmacy Technician

  • Qualitycontrol and auditing experience

Soft Skills :

  • Ability to quickly build business acumen

  • Proven ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

  • Demonstrated experience with establishing action plans with significant follow through

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills

  • Requires direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous andprofessional manner when dealing with the public, medical staff andother medical professionals
