Overview

Warrior Energy is seeking an entry level Engineer for our Pumping Division. Position will support district operations, sales, and engineering effort. Focus on Pressure Pumping with general knowledge of completion tools. Balances customer needs, engineering, and quality control. Assists with the engineering efforts of the district. Position requires Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or up to three years related experience and/or training, preferably in the oil and gas industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for computer modeling, recommendations, preparation and down-hole knowledge.

  • Coordinates the efforts of fluid technicians and operations personnel in all aspects of engineering at the yard and on job location.

  • Evaluates laboratory tests and information to ensure proper products and systems are being utilized on all treatments.

  • Conducts on-location job quality and safety inspections.

  • Interface with customers on a routine basis.

  • Assists in training employees in proper use of chemicals, new products, and services.

  • Participate in technical society (SPE, API, etc.) functions, study groups, etc.

Knowledge

  • Current practices and technology used in the oil and gas industry

  • Knowledge, competency and experience in related field

  • Knowledge relating to completion services procedures and processes

  • Current practices, equipment, materials, and supplies used in the Sand Control business

  • Ethical business practices
