This is a remote position for a Security Engineer -- Red Team Operator, with a company location of Jackson, Mississippi.

Summary: As the Security Engineer, you will work closely with and support the existing team of Senior Security Engineers. You will triage and resolve operational issues, perform routine tasks like patching and enhancing the solutions and capabilities. These capabilities include Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP/EDR), Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM), VPN, Web Security, DLP, Enterprise Logging (SIEM) and more. Responsibilities: Maintain, build and implement core security tools and systems in collaboration with senior security staff and other stakeholders; Review operations logs and console activities to determine root cause of security-related events or to identify potential security-related events; Provide support to Technology, GRC and other business units as appropriate in responding to audits and other information requests; Enhance active threat monitoring and alerting capabilities into the integrated set of security tools and capabilities; Work with support staff, engineering teams and other colleagues to resolve issues with security controls, software and services

Qualifications:  A minimum of 2+ years of work experience in security administration, engineering and/or operations; Experience with three of the following solution categories: Endpoint Protection Platform or Endpoint Detection and Response, Endpointâ?¯Privilege Management (EPM), VPN, Web Security, DLP, SIEM or Microsoft 365 security; Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills; Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to technical or non-technical colleagues; Experience working with Support and Technology teams to troubleshoot or investigate issues; You are authorized to work in the US
