Position Headline:

Position is responsible for leading and facilitating operating rhythms between the global BPO and the Business Units it supports. Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring specific business objectives and priorities are met, alignment with the BUC team and audit requirements. This position reports to the OTC Operations Leader, Americas and works closely with a variety of different internal and external business partners within the global BPO and Business Unit.

About the Role:

A high-performing leader, with strong business and change management skills. The successful candidate will instill a performance and results mindset to quantify and drive value, visibility, and accountability across the E2E OTC processes, including credit, cash and collections, deductions and disputes management. This position will exert influence and leadership by partnering with key stakeholders across the E2E process, including sales, commercial finance and customer service by providing support and analysis and issue resolution. Additionally, this position will be instrumental in driving standardization and streamlining of activities within the E2E process and implementing policy and global standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct, establish, and monitor performance standards for credit management, collections, dispute management, month end analytics aligned to assigned business units.

  • Work closely with Shared Services leaders to influence and execute the order to cash strategy.

  • Lead business unit productivity initiatives that have a direct impact on the end to end Order To Cash processes

  • Set cash and age reduction targets aligned with assigned business unit’s financial objectives. Ensure scorecards and KPI’s are administered for the organization, the team, and individual collector.

  • Highly proficient at performing complex root cause analysis, issue resolution, and business process improvement.

  • Coach, develop, motivate, and influence direct and indirect teams to achieve assigned business unit annual goals and objectives.

  • Bring a focused, consistent team approach to ensure pro-active and prompt action for both internal and external customers.

  • Recommend and authorize, as warranted, write-offs, litigation and account settlements.

  • Negotiate customer payment plans and settlements, including approval of settlements for accounts in litigation.

  • Drive accountability and corrective actions to ensure results align with targets and objectives.

  • Focus on DSO, past due %’s, reducing aged deductions and credits and unapplied cash.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures, including training / change management, for standardizing process and improving controls and performance.

  • Support activities, namely the forecasting of AR, and bad debt analysis and other AR reserves.

  • Deliver accurate cash / AR forecasts.

  • Deliver productivity via the standardization, streamlining and automation of processes

  • Other special projects and duties as may be necessary.

Minimum Requirements/Competencies:

  • A minimum of 10 years of related experience in finance, OTC / customer experience, and process excellence related roles, including a minimum of five years of leadership experience.

  • Prior experience successfully working with or in a shared services organization, proven capability to effectively influence remote teams.

  • Agile leader that anticipates the needs of their business partners and customers.

  • Strong SAP / systems skills.

  • Continuous improvement mind-set needed to drive transformation and productivity.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills required.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required.

  • Proven ability to manage and develop staff by demonstrating exceptional leadership skills.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or accounting required
