COOK - $11.10/hr.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned)Prepare and cook meals in compliance with the 6-week cycle menu and other applicable, state, and federal standardsEnsure compliance with food preparation and applicable sanitation standards and state regulationsMaintain all food item receipts, menu production records and meal countsSupervise and monitor the Cook Aide(s) and volunteersKnowledge and ability to safely operate kitchen and food preparation equipment and toolsMaintain and ensure adequate inventory of kitchen supplies, food and equipmentFollow food budget guidelines, including local and vendor food purchasing and price comparisonsAbility to measure ingredients, follow recipes, and perform basic mathematical functionsFollow dietary guidelines and individualized meal plansCoordinate food delivery to classroomsAssist Teachers with the preparation of food and nutritional lessons and activitiesImplement center emergency proceduresAbility to meet deadlinesMust have organizational skills and ability to maintain recordsMaintain standards of confidentiality of CC Idaho clients and recordsPerform all work duties and activities in accordance with CC Idaho policies, procedures, and safety practices QualificationsRequiredMust obtain Food Handler's Card within 30 days of hireOne-year experience in a commercial kitchen and/or school/childcare kitchen settingCurrent driver's license and proof of auto insuranceMust pass physical examination and background checks, including state day care clearanceMust obtain clearance of TuberculosisMust obtain First Aid and CPR certificationPreferredHigh School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)Ability to read, speak, and write in both English/Spanish in a business settingBasic computer skills*COOK AIDE - $9.05/hr.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities.
