The Role

Aspen Technology is currently recruiting for an experienced and energetic Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant who thrives in an exciting, results-oriented, growth environment. You will play a large and unique impact as we look to grow in years to come, by building influencial relationships with key stakeholders in the company, to attract and hire the world’s best talent.

Based in our Houston, TX office and reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will work closely with other members of a dispersed HR team, coordinating closely with colleagues focused on sourcing passive talent for what are often niche and technical positions.

Your Impact

  • Oversee the development of the initial job requisition including revision of job descriptions, documentation of each Recruitment Campaign, obtain approvals and maintain accuracy of ATS.

  • Write and edit Company and job marketing content and post to job boards, other social media networks and directly to talent pools.

  • Develop and manage the relationship with suitable agencies and ensure their full compliance with our processes.

  • In collaboration with colleagues, prospect for passive talent through search engine and social media, as needed.

  • Maintain ongoing relationships with candidates, providing timely follow up, feedback and correspondence as required, and ensure momentum is maintained through the selection process.

  • Liaise with the Recruiting Coordinator to schedule interviews with the hiring team.

  • Conduct 30-60-90 day review meetings with the Hiring Manager to proactively identify and eliminate obstacles to successful completion of the campaign.

  • Oversee the approval to offer process, ensuring adherence to all policies and communicate with all parties in a timely manner, particularly in the event of an exception request.

  • Take part in and manage on-going Talent Acquisition projects.


What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience required.

  • At least 5+ years recruiting experience required with related technical/software environment experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively handle a full requisition load as required and balance multiple placement needs in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to drive direct sourcing strategies to reduce reliance on contingent placement firm.

  • Self-directed, process oriented, and innovative thinking around the recruitment strategy.

  • A combination of agency and in-house corporate experience highly desirable.

  • Proficiency with MS Office, ATS Systems, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
