As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you’ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.

Hands-on, full-stack development of large-scale Java-based applications comprising
A commercial mindset to deliver short, medium and long term strategies to achieve sustained efficiency; innovative approaches to solve difficult problems; focus on simplification; and help the team adopt SDLC automation/DevOps to maximize ROI of technology investments.
3-10 years of work experience indeveloping, enhancing and maintaining enterprise-class applications
Java/J2EE Problem-solving ability Innovates andis interested in new development techniques and technologies, especially Cloudadoption, Big Data, etc.
Excellent communication skills Self-starter whois able to multi-task on several deliverables Experience with UI design
Object Oriented Programming and DesignPrinciples (OOP / OOD)
Use of software engineering best practices suchas design review, code review, unit testing, software quality metrics, andre-factoring Familiarity with testing practices such as TDD, BDD
Strong Java development skills, including coreJava, IoC container – Spring, and integration frameworks such as JMS Thoroughunderstanding of Web architecture and technologies
Performance critical development, incorporatingservices such as distributed in-memory caches (HazelCast, GemFire, EHCache,Terracotta)
Web service experience, including knowledge ofREST, XML/JSON, SOA, Microservices, WSDL, WS-Security and XSD
Persistence technologies such as OracleDatabase, MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop HBASE,
architectural eye towards applying thesesolutions towards a problem Ability to debug and optimize web apps
Expertise with version control systems (e.g.Subversion, Git)
Understanding of security principles insoftware development
Familiar with Linux/Unix env, including workingwith shell, ssh, and other command line tools
