Technical Writer

job summary:

Technical Writer with 5-10 years of Technical Writing experience.

responsibilities:

Will be working on technical writing to modify existing Tech Order (TO) documents for a military program, and to write technical manuals for military projects. These documents must adhere to a specific MIL-STD, so any experience with MIL-STD is helpful. Will also be working on writing processes, procedures and work instructions for the the manufacturing area.

qualifications:

Must be very well versed in XML and preferably Visio. Any Technical Writing at the Systems Engineering level and/or IETM (Interactive Electronic Technical Manual) is strongly preferred. ?

skills: Must also have excellent communication skills with a customer service focus to work with both the technical design team and the sales team.
