Trinity Health Staff RN in Hartford, Connecticut
Seeking an OR trained Registered Nurse to work in an outpatient orthopedic/sports medicine Ambulatory Surgery unit. RN must have a minimum of two years experience as a circulator in the operating room. Both scrub and orthopedic surgical experience preferred. In this role, the RN is able to provide clinically appropriate care following established protocols for an assigned group of patients. The RN is beginning to recognize long range goals and more readily recognizes patterns of clinical information. The RN can manage some degree of uncertainty but may still need assistance with complex, vulnerable patients and situations. Based on these skills the RN is able to form a plan of care using the nursing process which helps to increase efficiency and organization. The RN is able to identify opportunities for continued professional development that correspond with career goals. May choose to remain at this level or seek advancement.

**Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. BS in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
Job Knowledge/Experience: OR experience required. Orthopedic experience desired. Ability to circulate and scrub preferred. **

Licensure: Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in CT.
Certification: BLS certification required. CNOR desired.
