Trinity Health 20 hour Medical Clinic Receptionist in Hartford, Connecticut
Under direction serves as the initial contact person, hospital representative for all internal and external customers. Responsible for creating and maintaining a professional, caring and customer-oriented environment. Performs secretarial tasks including typing, data entry, telephone, scheduling, faxing, filing, photocopying and mail distribution to assist staff in all phases relative to operations of the hospital and to perform routine functions of the other secretarial staff.
Education: High School Diploma, secretarial
Experience: One year experience in the medical field and customer service
Skills: Medical terminology, typing at least 45 wpm, computer skills, transcription
skills, excellent communication, interpersonal and telephone skills and a friendly and professional demeanor. Ability to greet, assist and develop positive rapport with physicians, patients, visitors, hospital staff and callers. Ability to adequately use, or learn to use, the department's computerized system and its associated devices. Able to remain calm under pressure.
