The Execution Systems Senior Manager provides leadership and direction for automation engineers and other technical resources and activities within the manufacturing sites.
The selected candidate will:
Motivate and inspire site team to drive significantly increased performance through technical innovation and change.
Provide leadership and development to the team and ensure there is a diverse pipeline of high performing multi-skilled leaders of the future. Drive a Credo-based culture aligned around our guiding principles of servant leadership, Faster Forward, innovation, engagement, collaboration and development.
Provide ES leadership, including obtaining agreement on site ES project definitions and priorities, and ensuring that resources, capabilities and processes are in place.
Ensure ES programs stay on plan by resolving resource conflicts and removing obstacles, which may involve negotiations at a senior level.
Establish effective working relationships and develops partnerships with TO, Quality, IT, SCSS and others to optimize methodology.
Ensure sound technical engineering concepts are applied.
Develop a mechanism to proactively assess business needs and identify points of leverage across the site.
Provide support for investigations (Events / CAPA's) and regulatory inspections.
Maintain change control process aligned to global and platform processes.
Monitor system performance and conduct database administration.
Provide feedback to Technical Operations on changes required in Master Recipe to be incorporated into Equipment Class General Recipe (EC GR).
Implement the content and execution standards in the end to end development and deployment of manufacturing and lab systems at the site.
Ensure governance for site specific portfolio/ program and project management and execution.
Ensure cost competitiveness and continuous improvement by identifying focus area for JJPS diagnostic and sponsoring JJPS initiatives led/supported by Execution Systems people.
Define, monitor and reports metrics and KPI.
Bachelor’s Degree is required; Engineering or Computer Science is highly preferred.
Master degree is preferred.
FPX, PMP, PE and/or Process Excellence certifications are preferred.
Minimum Eight (8) years of experience in Computer Network Systems is required.
Experience in computer systems within Medical Device, Pharmaceuticals or other healthcare regulated sector is preferred.
Five (5) years of people management experience is required.
Understanding of production process management is required.
Experience delivering innovative technical and engineering solutions in manufacturing environments is required.
Knowledge of technology development and validation, including design of experiments and statistical analysis, is preferred.
Experience working within a support organization with a knowledge of functional and matrix structures is preferred.
Strong and proven project management experience is required.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point is required.
Proficiency in English is required; Spanish is preferred.
Availability to travel within Puerto Rico 30% and outside Puerto Rico 25%.
