You could be the Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional this thriving Manufacturing company is looking for! Robert Half Finance is filling a temporary Accounts Receivable position with a noteworthy benefits package, for a dynamic organization. The Accounts Receivable Clerk role will be based in the Gardena, California region and is a full-time employment opportunity. Candidates who can enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, will be preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers

• Carry out, convey, and strengthen the mission, values and culture of the company

• Handle payments and compile segments of monthly closings and yearly reports in compliance with GAAP

• Provide information as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders

• Verify documents and codes

• Follow standard procedures to perform basic accounting tasks, such as general accounting

• Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans

Requirements

• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

• Established analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field

• Relevant experience in accounts receivable

• Current and relevant ERP system experience

• Accounts receivable experience
