Parkview Physicians Group - Indiana-CARD-FW-NURSING OFFICE Nursing - Full Time Benefit Eligible, Days, Monday-Friday Posted 2019-03-11 Req # 140032 Summary Responsible to develop an overall view of patients, family and caregivers by establishing strong partnerships dedicated to optimal care. Demonstrates clinical judgment by proactively leading patient#s progression throughout the continuum of care using predefined clinical milestones, targets and expected outcomes. Facilitates and coordinates collaborative rounds directing and prioritizing physician/provider workflow throughout the hospital inpatient environment. Facilitates the delivery of optimal patient care through collaboration, critical thinking and prioritization with the bedside care delivery team. In conjunction with the patient, the patient#s physician and other members of the health team, revise and implement a care plan that will address the identified needs, remove the barriers and improve the health of the patient. lncorporates multiple data sources to eliminate barriers to delivering timely appropriate level of care. Acts in accordance with physician orders, established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, American Nurses Association Standards of Clinical Practice, Indiana Nurse Practice Act, and the ANA Code of Ethics. Educational Information Effective 04/19/15, must be a graduate of an accredited ASN or BSN program. Nurses with ASN, hired/rehired or transferred from a non-nursing position on or after April 19, 2015 must obtain BSN from an accredited program within five years of employment or will not be eligible to continue nursing employment with Parkview. Effective 12/1/17, must be a graduate of an accredited ASN or BSN program. Nurses with ASN, hired/rehired or transferred from a non-nursing position on or after 12/1/17 must obtain BSN from an accredited program within three years of employment or will not be eligible to continue nursing employment with Parkview. Acceptable accrediting agencies are Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA). Must complete hospital General Orientation, Patient Care Orientation and Unit specific orientation as provided and required.# Licensure/Certification## Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license required. Must have current CPR certification.
