SAIC Systems Administrator in FORT LEWIS, Washington
SAIC is currently seeking Systems Administrators to provide customer support to users of supported information management systems at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.
Assisting customers with the resolution of problemsencountered. Identifies the nature of customer problems, to include loss ofservice, impact to the customer and the customer's expectations/needs for aresolution.
Provides help desk services to customers by serving as aprimary point of contact for problem resolution or direct inquiries.
Manage and provision customer accounts.
Provide computer systems support and associated networks.
Install, configure, and maintain servers.
Initiate support calls (hardware/software) andschedule/perform maintenance and hardware installations.
Install, configure and maintain various applications andservices.
Provide professional technical support to include on-callsupport.
Collect and collate trouble ticket reports and systemfailure data, sort this data for differentiation of affected systems, andprovide this data to the customer in a concise manner.
Manage and maintain system configuration to includedocumentation, installation, planning, configuration and evaluation of existingand new hardware.
Conduct MAAS installs.
Provide 24/7 sustainment of the MAAS program and systems
Provide Information Assurance Management consisting of IAand patching support for all sites
Consult with other Army/Department of Defense (DoD)organizations as needed
Required Education and Experience:
HS/GED and 9 years of experience: OR Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; OR Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience
5 years’ of relevant experience
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance. (Clearance listed in JPAS.)
Candidates with experience in Intelligence Analysis, particularly in the following disciplines, will be given strong consideration:
Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT)
Open Source Intelligence (OSINT)
Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)
