The Human Resources Generalist – Employee Experience focuses on providing support to ESNA employees through implementing strategies that focus on positive experiences and increased employee engagement. Focus on increasing effectiveness of communication methods, improving new hire experience, developing impactful presentations, and implementing methods to bring the organization closer together. Focus on helping teams attract and retain talent through a compelling employee value proposition and helping leaders create a work environment where employee engagement can thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HRBP’s and Business Leaders to drive employee engagement, encourage engagement in Employee Resource Groups and engage in Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.

  • Proactively partners with HRBP’s and Business Leaders to ensure we are pushing the appropriate communications to employees throughout the organization.

  • Provide support to the Organization People Review (OPR) process, supporting development of presentations, succession planning, and associate development planning.

  • Support recruiting initiatives, including attending job fairs and various other events to represent the business and attract new talent to the organization in partnership with the HR Business partner and the RPO provider.

  • Manage and maintain updated information on HR sites such as our internal HR SharePoint website and the HR Employee Resources website.

  • Provide administrative support such as monitor and respond to requests for information in the central HR mailbox, assist in facilitation of HR meetings and actionable items,

  • Develop and measure success of employee engagement program via survey results, collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends, and then communicating these to the HR Business partners.

  • Crisis management

  • Developing and implementing a strategic communication plan for the HR team and Business Leaders, which consists of crafting and deploying written and visual communications including corporate videos, PowerPoint presentations, writing speeches and drafting talking points.

  • Leverage Workplace and other available tools to enhance employee collaboration, as well as the effectiveness of messages going to the organization to bring awareness to initiatives, celebration of wins, and reinforcing Values, Priorities, and Leadership Principles.

  • Provide support with key strategic meetings and events, such as internal leadership meetings, employee town halls and other diversity and engagement sessions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Organizational Development, Business, Marketing, or Communications, or equivalent years of experience in a relevant position in lieu of a degree

  • 1 or more years’ experience in Human Resources, Business Strategy, Communications, Marketing or related field, with experience leveraging communication tools to support key strategic initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PHR, SHRM-CP

  • Experience in a general HR position

  • Experience in writing, editing and storytelling skills with ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences, strongly preferred

  • Ability to communicate with senior leadership and build relationships throughout the organization strongly preferred

  • Strong project management capabilities

  • Attention to detail; must possess excellent organizational and planning skills and possesses critical thinking skills

  • High-impact visual presentations, including PowerPoint, video and social/digital content

  • Able to engender trust and maintain confidentiality

  • Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment while maintaining organizational and time management skills

  • Conflict management skills, critical thinking skills, ability to use sound judgment
