Trinity Health Materials Technician II in Fayetteville, New York
Receives, stores and distributes all supplies. Ensures the clean and orderly maintenance of all receiving and storage areas and the accurate and timely handling of all division supplies.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior receiving/distribution experience preferred.
Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise. Completes population specific competency annually on populations served as identified in scope of care and service.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must be in good mental and physical shape; should have basic accounting skills and understanding of safety and sanitation principles. Requires good interpersonal skills and some mechanical aptitude. May be required to operate power lift. Ability to work accurately and handle pressure.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDS:
Clinical; industrial setting. Exposure class II. No exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions or secretions. Exposure to temperature extremes, and hazardous footing. Handles caustic and heavy items.
Heavy work. Heavy reaching, lifting and stooping. Required to be on feet most of the time.
