Job Description

The Enterprise IT Procurement and Reporting Specialist is responsible for implementing, monitoring and developing processes centered around IT Service Management for Cognosante. Through in-depth reporting, the Enterprise IT Procurement and Reporting Specialist measures and communicates performance of both the Enterprise Service Desk and Support Services Level 2 teams, with regards to industry standards, established service level agreements, and customer satisfaction goals. This position is a IT administrative position that is responsible for processing and tracking of IT procurement requests, overall management of information technology purchase requests from start to end, preparing, running and emailing all IT support reports and, responsibilities for Enterprise Service Desk administrative duties. Candidate will be expected to nurture and build relationships with our vendors as well as other Cognosante departments. The Enterprise IT Procurement and Reporting Specialist also serves on key projects and initiatives as needed as well as managing and inventorying assets for IT, ensuring the IT Service Management systems if kept up to date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Weekly and Monthly IT Service Management Reporting

  • Complete Weekly and Monthly trends analysis

  • Participates in Incident, Request, Change, Service Asset, and Problem Management tasks

  • Complete lifecycle asset management (hardware and software)

  • Complete CMBD reporting and clean up

  • Plans and manages hardware and software inventory audits

  • Responsible for IT software licenses management, procurement, tracking and reporting

  • Manages and leads projects as required

  • Maintain effective professional working relationship with co-workers and every level of management

  • Create, Manage, track, all IT Procurement requests through their lifecycle

  • Manage and track P-card expenses

  • Manage Invoices

  • Create, track and manage Purchase orders

  • Triage and work incoming Service Desk calls, chats, tickets for IT Procurement support

  • Own customer incidents and requests to resolution for IT Procurement

  • Review open tickets daily and promptly following up on tickets

  • Ensure that initial response, ongoing communication and resolution times are within SLAs

  • Experience with IT Service Management ticketing systems

  • Maintain accurate and up to date notes in all tickets

Required Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, related field OR equivalent experience

  • 6 months working knowledge of reporting concepts

  • General knowledge/understanding of corporate technology

  • General knowledge of IT procurement concepts

  • Previous experience with vendors, accounting codes and purchase orders

  • 6months to 1-year Help Desk or IT experience

  • Candidate must be able to use a variety of word processing, spreadsheet, graphics and scheduling tools

  • Candidate must have experience in being able to gather and convert data into a written narrative

Additional Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent written and communication skills

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Experience creating support documentation

  • Outstanding customer service skills

  • A+ certification or Network+ certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Purchase orders and Finance Systems

  • Previous experience with IT Service Management Systems

  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices

  • Knowledge of HDI best practices
