AT&T Lead Product Marketing Manager in El Segundo, California

This role in the national marketing team is focused on growing wireless revenues through add-on services. Specifically, this role will lead marketing of wireless insurance and international services portfolio including roaming and long distance. Combined, these services bring multi-billion-dollar revenue streams to AT&T annually. This role is closely aligned with product and network, marketing tactic owners, competitive intel, dot com, Hispanic marketing and sales operations to ensure flawless execution. Additionally, this role is an ambassador champion of these products within the organization with relentless focus on the customer experience to streamline and simplify and garner support.

This role will interact across multiple teams to set strategy and plans in motion through compelling marketing briefs. The brief is informed by product roadmap initiatives, customer segments, competitive intelligence, network changes or rate changes, customer research and other opportunities. Examples of campaigns include open enrollment for wireless insurance, and free roaming in Russia during World Cup. Collaboration with team members is required for unlimited plans with inclusion of free roaming in Mexico and Canada and partnering with the Hispanic marketing group for international opportunities.

Key job functions include:

  • Collaborate with product teams on roadmap initiatives (new plans, naming products, campaigns)

  • Create compelling, clear marketing brief to set clear strategy and initiate cross-functional teams

  • Competitive insights and data-driven strategies to inform brief and creative development

  • Partner with Go-To-Market project team to see idea/brief through execution

  • Develop messaging and positioning, key art and research as needed for campaign development

  • Drive messaging and consistency across marketing tactics including direct marketing, att.com merchandising, retail signage, performance media and more

  • Partner with pricing, promotion and media teams to set campaign success metrics

  • Lead alignment and project status meetings with teams to deliver on campaign elements

  • Review campaign creative and messaging and disclaimers

  • Leadership presentations and results readouts for campaign

  • Integrated campaigns to ensure customer-facing and rep experience are aligned working along with sales operations and field teams

  • Collaborate with PR, legal, finance, network, devices, AT&T Thanks, sponsorships and brand as well as other teams

Job-Specific Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years marketing experience

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Strong written and oral communications skills

  • Excellent communication including written, oral and presentation skills

  • Understanding of consumer data & marketing communications methods

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in general business, marketing or advertising; MBA
