The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. Treasury Management (TM) is a key part of our Payments, Virtual Solutions and Innovation team. Treasury Management includes managing and optimizing our customers' cash flow and mitigating its operational, financial, and reputational risk. We focus on creating operating efficiencies, cost savings and time savings for our customers by delivering treasury solutions through a consultative approach.

Wells Fargo Treasury Management Core Implementations supports a wide range of Treasury management products and services to help business banking, middle-market, and corporate customers manage their receivables, payables, and account information.

This position will oversee the department of 90+ team members across locations responsible for the direct delivery of Corporate Banking Implementations.

Responsibilities include:

Lead a team of 90+ team members that work directly with Clients, Sales, Relationship Team and other internal groups to deliver an A+ experience. Ensure the team has the right tools and structure to be successful in delivering an A+ experience.

• Advocate for customers including right-fitting customer to the appropriate delivery model

• Achieve metric targets and SLAs, and find opportunities to improve

• Connect and engage with customers to validate support and value

• Develop, maintain strong and effective partnerships for our customers’ benefit

• Manage and deliver on budget and finance expectations

• Acquire, develop and retain the best talent in the marketplace, while right-fitting teams and building a pipeline of talent

• Continue to increase workforce diversity and inclusion

• Create a culture of self-development and continual improvement that complements structured training

• Foster a culture and practice of innovation that delivers experiences that work across business boundaries

• Identify and champion new strategies and/or technology to reduce expense for possible reinvestment in other projects or to achieve expense saves

• Deliver on strategies while bringing the team onboard and holding partner’s accountable when needed

• Innovate, engage and execute in all projects and initiatives, with a focus on a digital strategy

• Proactively simplify and improve processes and practices, including leveraging technologies (digital, AI, API, other)

• Review and respond to advisory council for internal and external clients

• Ensure the team complies with laws and regulations

• Create a culture in which compliance/risk issues/problems are identified, raised, and addressed timely. (Raise Your/My Hand). Additionally, ensure timely corrective actions for any identified risk issues, regulatory compliance and laws and regulations are met.

• Maintain strong relationships with risk, audit, and compliance partners for transparent and quick identification of opportunities and solutions. Provide feedback to team members, peers and partners for the opportunities around delivery a better client and team member experience.

• Progress with improvements in fraud prevention, detection and management

• Implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce expenses, including e.g. EGS, RPA

As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will:

•Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.

•Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of management experience including; 5+ years of management experience in treasury or financial services

Desired Qualifications:

  • Problem analysis and resolution skills

  • Management experience; including overseeing a team responsible for implementing/servicing treasury management services, implementing defined business objectives, and executing business development strategies

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

  • Customer service focus with the ability to balance needs of clients, shareholders, and team members

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross team environment

  • A Masters of Business Administration (MBA)

  • Treasury management experience

  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas

  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
