This position coordinators the following programs: tutoring, student engagement and leadership.Job Duties:Develop, implement, expand and coordinate the college’s academic support services that include tutoring, supplemental instruction, writing labs and math labs.Supervise tutors and supplemental instruction leaders to ensure quality of services.Evaluate and assess tutoring program effectiveness, recommending updates to programs, guidelines, and procedures looking at new and innovative ways to provide services to students.Develop and facilitates student engagement programming that encompass student co-curricular programming, student organizations, student leadership, which builds a supportive & connected community for our students.Develop and evaluates student leadership programming.Participates in college’s Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) planning and leadership activities including co-leading the SEM implementation team, leading one of SEMs sub-teams and being a member of our SEM leadership team.Maintains departments ProcardOther duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 4-6 years of relevant experienceExperience in academic support programming.Knowledge of retention best practices.Must be able to work independently.Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.Excellent organizational skills; high attention to detail; independent; self-motivated; able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with many individuals at all levels throughout the internal college environment and external business and community partners, representing himself/herself professionally and courteously.Ability to communicate clearly verbally and, in writing.Ability to multi-task, work under deadlines, and prioritize projects to meet deadlines with high levels of efficiency and accuracy.Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Forms, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Word). Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree or equivalent and 4-6 years of experienceExperience in and understanding of working with students from diverse populations is preferred.Experience working at the community college level is preferred.
