Job Scope

Responsible for the analysis, scoping, qualification and recommendation of strategic pricing, price realization and price-pack architecture opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysis of pricing and related business dynamics of various brands/categories

  • Identification of opportunities to drive short/long term margin improvement and revenue growth, with defined success metrics

  • Ideation and scenario evaluation to deliver against defined opportunities

  • Scoping, quantification and qualification of opportunities through PDR phase

  • Partnering with Sales, Finance and CIS to assess trade spending, margin implications and consumer validation of proposed projects

  • Development of selling story and selling presentations

  • Linkage, communication and alignment of plans with cross-functional partners, brand/customer teams and category/NA leadership

Capabilities Needed to be Successful in the role

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Finance (or similar quantitative degree) . MBA is preferred.

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in Marketing, Market Research, PPA (Price Pack Architecture) analytics, pricing or strategy

  • Strong strategic agility with ability to turn insights and findings into actionable recommendations

  • Nielsen/IRI, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency

  • Ability to thrive in and handle ambiguity

  • Analytic and creative thinking skills

  • Passion, determination and persistence needed to find out of the box solutions to complex problems

  • Basic understanding of P&L’s, Trade and Manufacturing capabilities

  • Strong cross functional partnership skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Solid understanding of Sales and Customer issues
