Cook - Hawthorne Ridge East Greenbush NY - Per Diem Grade 20

Under the direction of the Management team, the Cook performs a variety of production and sanitation duties as needed or directed related to the production and service of food; Hot and Cold food production, A.M. and P.M. shifts.

Also performs other Food Service duties including Dishwashing, Retail Server, Line Server, Meal tray Passer/CTY Associate as needed or directed to meet department operational needs.

Duties can include cleaning equipment, work surfaces, kitchen/dining areas (including sweeping/mopping) as needed or directed.

• Prior cooking/prep experience required in restaurant, healthcare food service, education or fast food environment. Prior food service experience required.
• Ability to produce food of high quality in a fast paced, demanding environment required.
• High School Diploma /GED preferred.
• Reliability and Dependability required.
• Good communication skills;
• Ability to get along well with others;
• Demonstrated flexibility and patience to work as a member of a team
• Demonstrate a high level of sensitivity and interest in people.
