Baker Hughes a GE Company has an opening for Senior Mechanic – Pressure Pumping based in all Field area, Indonesia. The position will support our Pressure Pumping Division. Responsible for the regular maintenance and servicing of the machinery and equipment. Also maintain logs of maintenance activity.
Ensure all maintenance activity is carried out in a safe manner and is in compliance with the company's QHSE policies.
Responsible for completing work orders to log the repair and maintenance of the equipment, spare parts and systems.
Interact with Maintenance supervisor for the coordination of equipment maintenance between Base, Operations Supervisor, Field Service Supervisors and Equipment Operators.
Responsible for the listing and requesting the ordering of parts in conjunction with the maintenance supervisor.
Responsible for keeping all operational equipment and vehicles in good working conditions and well maintained as per company policies and procedures.
Supervise and repair operational equipment, vehicles and base equipment
Ensure that any maintenance or repairs are logged and recorded as per company procedures.
Ensure that the maintenance schedule is applied to all equipment, vehicles and base equipment.
Comply with all company quality, health, safety and environmental policies and procedures During any maintenance work
Responsible for reporting equipment failures and conducting repair requests and complete work orders.
Perform job risk assessments and take actions to execute the job safely and ensuring the highest service quality.
Ensure all personnel working in the work area are working safely and environmentally aware.
Implement PTW and lock-out tag out procedure.
Attend and participate in daily and monthly safety meetings.
Actively promote a health and safety culture through use of appropriate systems, work practices and evolving technologies and include the integration of QHSE principals into decision making.
Achieve any State Government or national targets for and Injury Management and plan develop and
Implement the necessary strategies to meet these targets.
Ensure that QHSE communication and systems are implemented and actively promote engagement with the consultative framework.
Using personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by employer and according to the Organization’s instructions for proper use.
Authorized to stop any activities that do not follow safe work practices.
Respect all local laws and customs.
Graduate in Post-secondary Mechanical tradesman discipline preferably mechanical engineering.
Over 6 years of experience in a related field.
Fluency in written and spoken English
Technical expertise in well services processes especially with respect to the entire well services operation
