The initiative this role will support is the most important program to the company over the next 3 years. This role will report to the program office manager and will work in concert with a business project manager(s).nThis role is responsible for project planning, project tracking, scope management, change control management, risk management, and quality assurance outcomes of the development project team. Develops and maintains a complex program Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Establishes organization-wide project management strategies. Ensures projects are completed according to time and budget schedules, and that objectives conform to division overall standards and operations objectives and user requirements. Conducts complex program and project management assessments. Exhibits strong leadership skills and leads project teams. Manages the integration of project management within an organization resulting in culture change.nDevelops understanding of program’s new business opportunities. Acquires Walgreen product and business process knowledge from domain experts and use the information in every aspect of leading analysis, design and implementation efforts. Ensures project team specifies requirements, scopes their level of effort, assesses team member strengths and gives work assignments with delivery dates in mind. Resolves project conflicts with affected management. Provides smart, direct, on-point project status to relevant audiences with relevant level of messaging.nJob Qualifications: Proficient written and oral communication skills. Identifies and recommends project management tools. Facilitates identification of risk, provides analysis and contingency planning. Creates detailed plans for consulting projects. Technical mentoring and leadership skills. Facilitates requirements definition sessions. Demonstrates success in Matrix organization Leadership. Problem resolution. Comfort in managing ambiguous situations to a structured work plan.nEducation and Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of experience in project management. PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Project Management Systems/Applications. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in information technology.nDifferentiating Qualifications: Experience with Specialty Pharmacy operations and systems, Experience with Cloud-hosted applications and Cloud integration, Experience with Organizational Change Management.nTravel: Up to 40% domestic USA travel – average nearer 25% per month.nWork Locale: Deerfield, IL, USA. Some remote and work-from-home needed. Cannot support off-shore workers.
