The Technical Services manager oversees the assigned technical department activities. They will work closely with the local Technical Services, Director and manage a team. The Technical Services, Manager's duties may include one or more of the following: technical sales support; customer technical assistance, technical content development for MAPEI website and social media outlets, technical writing and training, product application testing for product development and product claim/warranty management.

  • Oversee the technical services architectural support program and drive the generation of design specifications and drawings that are in agreement with current regulations.

  • Assist in the revision of MAPEI data sheets for the assigned products.

  • Review and update all existing MAPEI Technical services technical bulletins

  • Lead the technical services charge on the development of written methods and installation proposals in collaborate with R&D to develop the most efficient method and get instructions written and demonstrated in the field.

  • Coordinate with marketing and external parties to arrange, support content development and conduct all MAPEI Technical Institute (MTI) trainings.

  • The Technical Services Manager is the point of contact and spokesman for TSIStrade associations.

  • Develop, launch and maintain MAPEI internet media content in collaboration with marketing.

  • Supervise a team of technical service representatives, including hiring, employee development & training and general personnel administration.

To be qualified for this position you must have a bachelor’s degree (B.A.) and/or equivalent from a four-year College or University and seven years related experience or any equivalent combination of related training and experience.
