JOB SUMMARY:

Manages the operations of health services or departments including: Quality Management, UM Management, Special Needs Unit, Maternal Health and EPSDT programs, Proven Health Navigator Staff, and Community Health Assistant/Community Services, to ensure the operating integrity of the plan and coordinates interdepartmental reports and statistics in accordance with medical standards of practice regulatory agency requirements.

Demonstrates research and analytical abilities.

Demonstrates competence in written, oral and electronic communication skills.

Demonstrates public presentation skills.

Demonstrates computer proficiency particularly with MS Office software.

Demonstrates ability to be detail oriented

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

B.S. in Nursing required.

Masters in Health Care Administration or related field preferred.

Minimum 5 years health management experience in a healthcare environment with a proven ability to develop effective programs, manage resources, and project milestones to deliver effective, integrated solutions on time and within budget required.

Previous supervisory experience required. Experience with complex computer applications and healthcare data retrieval, analysis, interpretation, and explanation required.

Healthcare finance, marketing and/or operations background preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Work is typically performed in an office environment. Independent travel is required.
