Position Purpose:

This position is an HR Generalist role with a primary focus on creating a culture and environment that supports business success and employee engagement within the Alliances & Business Solutions (A&BS) organization that is both remote and customer facing. This position will provide HR support to the Alliances & Business Solutions HR team. Particular focus will be on talent management, change management, employee relations, and strategic business projects. This position will also focus on talent acquisition, performance management, talent development, succession planning, and recruitment and retention. This position will work proactively with the HR Business Partner the A&BS team to understand business needs and develop and execute solutions that help ensure business success. This position will also ensure HR best practices are developed and consistently implemented across the business to provide best-in-class quality and service to our multiple client groups. This is a very fast paced, complex and highly dynamic role where constant change is the norm, and that interacts with all levels of employees and managers within the organization to drive strong results.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with management and employees to create development plans for key employees

  • Resolve all employee relations matters proactively; ensuring compliance with federal and local labor laws

  • Work with legal team to ensure full compliance in resolving escalated employee relations concerns

  • Work with HR teams, business unit leaders to facilitate the execution of the performance review process to ensure quality outcomes

  • Coordinate closely with the HR team, HR Operations Center, and other HR Generalists to ensure the effective execution of day to day HR activities

  • Work with management to develop and implement Progressive Discipline and Performance Improvement Plans as needed

  • Serve as a change management resource to facilitate strategies and interventions to drive continuous improvement

  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to source key positions at various levels, Directors, Managers, Supervisors, etc.

  • Establish broad-based business and industry knowledge to provide a high level of consultative HR support, focused on aligning HR priorities with business strategy

  • Lead various HR projects supporting key business initiatives, driving growth and HR process standardization

  • Support the implementation of new acquisitions and integrations

  • Managing HR Metrics, presenting actionable data, and driving client groups to decisions


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Human Resources or related discipline required

  • SHRM-CP and/or SHRM-SCP highly preferred

  • 3 to 5 years HR Generalist experience

  • Experience leading change initiatives and implementing HR best practices

  • Proven track record of supporting talent development programs and readiness of key talent

  • Experience developing and delivering training to managers

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; collaborates easily with others to achieve goals

  • Exceptional ability to work with various people at all levels of the organization

  • Strong initiative and high energy; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to multi-task between many priorities

  • Strong business, financial acumen, and critical thinking ability

  • Proficient in MS Office applications including strong Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong analytical and customer service skills; ability to quickly resolve complex business issues
