As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Quality Engineer in our Interiors business located in Corona, CA.


Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Engineer plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties.


  • Supports the Site Quality Manager to develop, implement, and maintain the Business Management systems to meet certification requirements, the needs of customers/suppliers, the business and its stakeholders.

  • Carries out internal site audits in accordance with AS9100, and ensures continuing compliance.

  • Provides a comprehensive and timely series of audit reports, with clear actions on any identified failings.

  • Supports auditees to ensure effective closure of audit actions.

  • Supports business processes and personnel in continuous improvement activities in addition to providing information concerning product and process quality performance.

  • Develops, implements, and maintains quality documentation and metrics including process maps, procedures, standards, process, and product specifications.

  • Develops, manages, implements, and controls quality processes from material receipt, manufacturing through to dispatch of finished product to ensure product conformance and customer satisfaction.

  • Manages the implementation of short and long term strategic functional objectives and KPI’s.

  • Ensures all quality data is captured and analyzed against targets taking action on adverse variation to standard.

  • Strives towards the Goal of a World Class manufacturing environment.

  • Works with ALCI to align QA procedures and processes.


  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university.

  • Minimum two (2) years related experience in Aerospace Quality; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel knowledge and experience, with the ability to utilize pivot tables.

  • Experience applying Quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with MRB.

  • Experience in Corrective Action.

  • Experience to read and understand a technical engineering drawing in order to identify revisions.

  • Experience working within the AS9100 quality framework.


  • Five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing.

  • Experience in Continuous Improvement Activities.

  • Experience in performing internal audits.

  • Experience with supplier/customer audits.

  • Composite manufacturing/Machining knowledge.

  • Proven, effective project management skills.

  • Well organized with solid judgment; able to multitask and adjust to changing priorities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders including Senior Leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility with, interact with, and influence suppliers, customers, and key stakeholders; ability to build strong relationships, especially in cross-functional teams.
