PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Tests medical equipment quickly and competently according to the procedures within the department. Meets production goals while achieving the highest standard of quality.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under close supervision, acquires Tester skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
Perform routine detailed test & calibration procedures on different types of equipment and components.
Responsible for carrying out tasks in a diligent manner according to written procedures and/or instruction.
Responsible for proper cleaning and correct modification of products.
Proper safety equipment must be used at all times.
Diagnoses equipment operating problems and make required repairs. Modify the devices according to current specifications and customer needs.
Make sure test equipment is in working order and within calibration due date.
Keep up-to-date records of equipment manual and equipment test procedures.
Make sure that work floor is clean at all times.
May refer to senior staff for assistance with day-to-day problems that may arise.
Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution, as deemed necessary.
Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.

Capable of lifting up to 55 lbs., as required, with assistance.

Use proper ergonomics.
High School Diploma required or GED and/or High School Equivalency Certificate equivalent.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
0 – 1 year’s related experience.
Ability to troubleshoot problems with machines.
Ability to read and understand schematics and assembly drawings.
Knowledge of Final Test and T&C Stations 0-1.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
