The Office of Diversity & Inclusion strive to offer programmatic initiatives and services that meet the diversity-related needs of students, staff, and faculty at Mount Carmel College of Nursing.
Established in 1903, Mount Carmel College of Nursing, is a private specialized four-year college that offers 13 programs and/or certificates at the baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral level. The total enrollment is 1069. In the spirit of the Catholic tradition, we welcome a diverse population of students from all faiths, to prepare them academically and professionally as competent and compassionate nurse leaders, who are lifelong learners, and who possess the moral courage to continuously promote the health of individuals and communities.
- Project potential for this practicum, include, but are not limited to, conducting focus groups with students, staff and faculty, collecting diversity-related information about peer and non-peer institutions, engaging in the development, implementation and assessment of diversity related initiatives and participating in the construction, review and editing process of policies.
- 1st and 2nd year graduate students enrolled in Student Affairs or Higher Education programs.
- In addition to the online application students must also submit a resume and cover letter.
- Satisfactory completion and clearance of all pre-employment protocols, which include but may not be limited to, drug screening, criminal background investigation, education verification and employment verification.
