This includes task scheduling and cleanup procedures. Works with customers, vendors and other personnel to insure data travels through channels and processes efficiently. The File Transfer Analyst must have proven analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting skills. The File Transfer Analyst will function as a team leader.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. * Other duties may be assigned.* Able to perform all duties of Operations Analyst 1, 2 & Senior.* Analyze, review and create processes to improve and enhance services and products.* Knowledge of file transmission protocols: NDM, SFTP, SSH, and HTTPS.* Advanced knowledge of IBM suite of Managed File Transfer products including Sterling Integrator, Sterling Secure Proxy, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling External Authentication Server and Connect:Direct(NDM).* Possess knowledge of data encryption, SSL/TLS, shell scripting and batch file programs to create successful file transfer processes.* Operations experience with BMC Control-M scheduling system.* Create procedural documentation utilized by team.* Monitor and maintain daily workflow by guiding and assisting others as necessary.* Investigate and resolve processing, software, and hardware issues or questions presented to the area.* Assist with audit and business continuity requests.* Instruct and train new and existing team members.* Communicate skill/work efficiencies of associates to manager on a regular basis.* Respond to all emails and phone calls in a timely and courteous manner.* Organize and archive all project and team related e-mails for future reference.* Participate in a weekly on call rotation to provide system and file transmission support.* Monitor systems and email requests for support and issues that must be resolved during on call shift.What Are We Looking For in This Role?Minimum Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree* Relevant Experience or Degree in: Information Technology or Business related study; relevant experience in lieu of education* Typically Minimum 6 Years Relevant Exp* Information Technology Field and/ or Bankcard IndustryPreferred Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree* IT or Business related study* Typically Minimum 8+ Years Relevant Exp* Operations experience with CA, BMC or IBM suite of products*****8-5 Normal shift + On call*****Not Ready to Apply?
