The Role: Pure Technologies, a Xylem brand, seeks to hire a Client Service Manager for the Mid Atlantic area, accountable for developing and managing the strategic aspects of the AIA business in the defined geographical area. The Client Service Manager position is a unique opportunity of importance to Xylem and AIA that will be responsible for developing the larger AIA’s strategy in the region so that business will grow over time. This position is also accountable for developing/implementing growth strategies, recruiting and building a team to deliver work, and implementing long term strategies for a healthy growing business.
Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
Define and implement strategies to scale and grow the business by developing local knowledge of business economics and trends within the water, wastewater and structural monitoring markets leveraging how AIA solutions add value;
Build business from revenue of approximately $5m per year to $10m revenue per year in 3 years;
Consult with a team of Project Managers/Engineers that secure, manage and support the delivery of projects and programs to ensure quality, on-schedule and on-budget completion;
Coordinate and communicate routinely with SVP and C-level management forecasting of top line growth of the Area;
Work collaboratively with all internal and external stakeholders to manage and meet expectations, including business development managers in the defined area;
Develop internal relationships to support the overall growth and success of the AIA’s multiple groups and business units, mentor peer and mid-level staff, and steward client satisfaction;
Review project deliverables to ensure they meet client needs;
Utilization goal = 10%

Xylem is a growth company and an important measure of success is revenue growth. It is expected that the revenue for the area will increase year over year by a defined percentage, as detailed herein.
Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or technical discipline, preferred
Engineering consulting, construction background, preferred
Demonstrated history of financial and business acumen typically gained through experience managing large programs and expanding work into new areas/new clients
Possess strong oral and written communication skills - Interacts with staff, general public, clients, and contractors
Ability to manage key stakeholder interests, while at the same time managing conflicting priorities and business interests
Demonstrated leadership qualities, including conflict and issue resolution
Ability to work logically and systematically, with good time management
Problem-solving and decision-making skills plus the ability to think laterally while offering creative solutions
Flexibility and the ability to manage change
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
Proactive with a high level of attention to detail
