Job Overview: The person in this position will report to the GSC President and will lead in planning, coordinating, and implementing alumni, college, and program specific engagement activities including special events as requested. This person will establish current milestone engagements and develop experiences to reaffirm the students college choice, provide experience vision (theme, primary goal development, general agenda) and ensure a positive onsite experience for student and alumni engagement events. Frequent interaction and collaboration with team members in the GSH Foundation, the GSC Leadership, our TriHealth partners, faculty and staff, and outreach with external stakeholders (alumni, vendors) is required to support the mission of GSC, success of our programs, and donor support of our students. Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Communication Event Planning 2-3 years Professional experience in Higher Education, Foundation/Alumni Job Responsibilities: Work with appropriate constituents to plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of college and alumni engagement events that support the mission of the College. Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders. Provides ongoing relationship building with alumni while working with GSH Foundation team members to support work with current and prospective donors. Collaborates with GSC and TriHealth marketing and communications team members to provide professional communication to college and alumni using a variety of media including emails, newsletters, GSC website, social media, etc. Work with the GSC President and Dean of Financial Services to manage expenses, keeping within the annual operating budget reserved for engagement activities. Processes invoices for payment and works with vendors to obtain quotes before approval of any costs. Maintains record of all events including detailed planning information, invoices, and vendor contact information. In collaboration with GSC President, develop metrics, collect data, and submit an annual report that summarizes and analyzes previous year outcomes for all college and alumni events. Utilizes these data to develop college and alumni engagement plan for following academic year.
