A critical part of our growing team, this person will have insight and visibility into strategic accounting and finance operations, and with tremendous room for growth within the company!nJob DescriptionnKey Responsibilities:nComplete all required monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activitiesnPrepare assigned journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations monthlynEnsure general ledger postings of all assets are accurate and completenSet up, transfer or retire assets on an accurate and timely basisnAnalyze P&L and provide variance analysis to internal team members, both within and outside accountingnAssist in the development of accounting policies and proceduresnDevelop comprehensive documentation to support financial transactions including journal entries and account reconciliationsnAssist with internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules and ensuring appropriate documentation is provided and controls have been performed and documentednIdentify and implement solutions to continuously improve the monthly close cycle to maintain accuracy while reducing timenQualifications:nBachelor’s degree in accounting with 4 to 8 years of accounting experiencenCPA or CPA candidate preferrednFinancial close cycle experience requirednExperience in the telecommunications or technology industry preferrednProficient in Excel, Word, Access and Power pointnERP systems experience, i.e. Navision a plusnMust work well both independently and as part of a team in fact-paced environment and against established deadlinesnExcellent organization and critical thinking skillsnExcellent written and verbal communication skillsnTeam playernEEO EmployernApex is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
