Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for creating and maintaining requirements for cash management products including Payments, Direct Debit etc. The position will require the candidate to work collaboratively with various cross functional teams in identify the roadmap for the Next Generation Online Banking Platform.

Job Background/Context:

CITIDIRECT® BE is the Next Generation Collaborative Online Banking Platform Leverages New Technologies to Deliver Enhanced Features and Functionality. CITIDIRECT® BE is a key initiative for GTS to establish the next generation of CitiDirect. CitiDirect is Citibank's flagship Web-based banking platform for Cash management services. The platform will also support and house the strategic White label services for Cash management for external FIs.

The complex projects and initiatives require an on site business analyst who can work with business sponsors, clients, various subject matter experts and the various interfacing business and technology groups to understand and manage requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Product Managers to define product vision/roadmap

  • Translate the product vision into product features/themes and articulate those using well-defined user stories

  • Write user stories with holistic acceptance criteria, collaborating and communicating feature requests to engineering teams in a fast-paced, agile environment

  • Demonstrate end-to-end product ownership for the assigned area

  • Identify size and prioritize increments of work to be targeted for each iteration

  • Analyse and understand the current Cash Management product offerings within the bank in general and in

  • CitiDirect in particular

  • Assess customer requirements, business process and system inefficiencies, and identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive)

  • Interface & collaborate with different stakeholders to elaborate user stories and formulate solutions

  • Act as subject matter expert/product expert, knowing the functional and technical capabilities inside and out for assigned area

  • Lead the product increment planning discussions, serve as a liaison between Product Managers and the Agile team

  • Create and maintain Product Backlog, Service interface requirements (ICDs), as per the processes established in the organization

  • Support development, QC and UAT teams

  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals

  • Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product/domain

  • Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others

  • Follow our competitors and the industry

  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends

Qualifications

Person Specification

Knowledge/Experience:

  • 8-12 years experience as Business Analyst experience with enterprise level financial applications

  • Must have experience working on large-scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business in an agile environment

  • Strong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data)

  • Good analytical skills – Ability to understand business problem and draft Use Cases, user stories to explain requirement and formulate/present solution approach.

  • Problem Solving, ability to take key decision by talking to SMEs, Product/Technology stakeholders

  • Teamwork and team management, guiding the team and clearing bottlenecks

  • Stakeholder Management, Project Management

  • Demonstrated fluency in business processes and process differentiation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering)
