Production ArtistJob ID #:IRC18141Location:Cedar Falls, IA Functional Area: ArtPosition Type: Full Time Regular Business Unit: Social Position Description Essential Job Functions:A Production Artist works to translate and implement game assets, graphics, animations, and special effects into the Mobile and Web format, while maintaining the best possible quality, playability, and user experience.*Understanding the slot machine game, the class of slot it belongs to, and its play type.*Understanding the platform each slot machine will be converted to, and the inherent technical and quality issues that will need to be dealt with during the production process for that platform (Unity; Flash; Mobile)*Ensuring that each Slot Machine is properly and completely delivered to Scientific Games Social in a useable format*Ensuring that each Slot Machine is delivered with proper reference materials for use of graphics, animations, and special effects. (movies or playable versions of the Slot)*Production Artist will be responsible for providing documentation on production methodology, how the assets will be implemented by Programming.*Working with Programming to ensure that provided assets are ideal for:oworking properly and efficiently on the platform for which Slot is being producedonot requiring an unusually long production processomeeting Scientific Games Social quality standards, and/or maintaining the "Spirit" of the original slot game*Working with Programming to create an efficient use of assets, particularly when assets are reused in multiple slot machines. Position Requirements Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Art or a related field Required Experience:*Minimum 2 years of experience Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:*Proficiency in Photoshop and After Effects.*Ability to quickly learn and utilize proprietary software*Experience in MS Office*Written and verbal communication skills*Ability to follow direction and accept constructive criticism*Excellent organizational skills; problem solving skills, and high attention to detail*Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet multiple concurrent deadlines Scientific Games Corporation and its affiliates (collectively, "SG") are engaged in highly regulated gaming and lottery businesses.
