Following a variety of project wins, and with several high-value opportunities identified in the market, we have an opportunity for an experienced Cost Consultant to join our team. As a specialist in your field, you will focus on estimates, asset valuations, whole of life cost modelling and business case preparation. You will contribute to the sales and profitability of the business by driving regular client liaison, business development and winning new work.
This role is ideal for a Cost Consultant / Quantity Surveyor who is looking to take the next steps in their career, leading and delivering a range of your own complex tasks and projects. Working in a close-knit, regional office, you will have the opportunity to work across a range of business lines, giving you exposure to a diverse portfolio of sectors and clients.
Minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated experience;
Consulting experience - preferable;
Healthcare and Defence experience - highly regarded.
The successful applicant will have a detailed understanding of built assets including condition assessments and maintenance requirements, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Your solid business development skills and ability to build and maintain a strong client base will be the keys to your success in this role.
QS Qualifications (MRICS or AAIQS) – Advantageous
API Qualification – Advantageous
Working knowledge of MS Suite – Essential
