This position is for an Experienced Accountant, overseeing general accounting processes such as inter-company cash, cash management, government accounting, financial reporting, project accounting, and / or balance sheet management. Responsible for overseeing accounting policies, procedures, and controls in order to ensure adherence to regulations and organization guidelines.
Annual planning and actuals reporting for direct and indirect rates
Calculate the impact of proposed accounting changes and update the Disclosure Statement accordingly
Evaluate the internal control environment
Ensure compliance with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
Prepare proposals in accordance with Government regulations, including supporting fact-finding, negotiations, and TINA certification
Perform financial management and financial reporting for Government contracts
Act as a liaison between Government agencies and Collins Aerospace, including support of Government audits.
Knowledge of federal procurement regulations, such as Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) preferred
Government contracting experience preferred.
Familiarity with Cost Accounting Standards preferred.
Accounting or Finance experience preferred.
Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience
