Evaluate the participants | | nutritional status, develop and implement nutritional care plans, | | assess nutrient requirements, recommend nutritional prescriptions, | | evaluate participant tolerance and effectiveness of nutritional care | | and communicate nutritional data and information to the physician's | | and other health professionals. | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited | | institution approved by the ACENT (Accreditation Council for | | Education in Nutrition and Dietetics) with a major in nutrition. | | Master's Degree preferred. One year of experience with the frail or | | elderly preferred. Clinical dietetics experience preferred. | | | | - Ability to teach; analytical thinking | | - Ability to provide care to geriatric participants; knowledge of | | clinical dietetics | | - Must be able to work under pressure | | - Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills | | | | Type of Employees Supervised: None. | | | | Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: Registered | | Dietician Nutritionist (RND) or Registered Dietician (RD). Valid NC | | driver's license. | | | | Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and | | have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment. | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+

Must | | meet certification by colorblind standards. | | | | Other: Will be working with potentially hazardous chemicals, exposure | | to patient body fluids. | | | | Requires frequent lifting and carrying items weighing up to 40 pounds | | unassisted. | | | | Requires frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements, | | standing, walking, squatting and sitting, with some heavy lifting, | | pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular work | | shift.
