Plan, organize, present and market exhibitions. Acquire, store, and exhibit collections. Select the theme and design of exhibits. Develop annual plans, each exhibition, and guidelines for each project/exhibition, working with employer's management and exhibiting artists. Negotiate and authorize the purchase, sale, exchange, and loan of collections. Conduct research on artists and their artworks. Attend meetings and events to promote the employer's gallery. Direct student staff and interns. Perform administrative tasks related to operating projects and exhibitions. Must be bilingual in English and Japanese.
